I am a professional native, fully bilingual English/Spanish voiceover talent. Originally from Puerto Rico, my father’s side of the family is Argentine. I was also raised in the United States as a teenager. I have no accent in either language unless a client requests a bit of Hispanic accent, which I can add naturally given my heritage. I am also able to record in Spanish with a native Puerto Rican or Argentinian accent.
My voice is best described by my clients as friendly, sparkling, expressive, pleasing, warm and enthusiastic
Since 2010 I have been working from full-time from my pro studio, recording bilingual commercials, narration and character voices for corporate training videos or eLearning projects from children’s to university level, museum audio guides, PSA’s, public television promos, overdubs from English to Spanish for web videos, explainer videos, and more. Clients depend on my native flawless North American English and neutral Latin American Spanish.
I am particularly adept at voicing content related to Hispanics and the Spanish language, however my bicultural roots enabled me to build cross-cultural bridges worldwide since 1994 when she launched her first Latin American music ensemble and started recording for a handful of voiceover clients. Using my voice to bring not only messages like these to life, my days also includes a great deal of regular work in the general market in English.
In 2018 I was awarded a SOVAS Award in the category of Outstanding Commercial Demo, Best Voice Over.
One of my fortes is helping clients modify Spanish translations to correspond in a more natural way to media originally created in English. Being a native speaker of both English and Spanish, I check the accuracy and cultural sensitivity of translations, retrofitting Spanish text into an English language video. Overdubbing is a fine skill: one must speak more quickly since there are about 1/4 to 1/3 more words in Spanish, and still sound natural and conversational. This is a skill that I have cultivated over the last decade and have become highly proficient at attaining. I enjoy it! I also particularly enjoy voicing content for the public good, which is why I voice for dozens of public television stations around the country who task me to provide documentary narration, children’s and family educational program, pledge drives and community engagement videos. I work regularly with companies addressing health equity, social justice, and progressive political causes. Overall i’m a flexible team player, easy to direct, reliable and consistent and I sincerely enjoy providing extra caring customer service since my clients honor me by inviting me into their team.
Every voice actor sets their own rate. All of our talents are pros, but the cost can vary depending on their experience and skill level.
Generally speaking, voice over rates depend on:
- Will the voice over be for broadcast and paid ads, or organic, non-promotional use?
- The length of the script (word count).
- Do you need the voice over fully edited and production-ready, or just the raw audio?
- Do you want to direct the voice artist in real-time, or can they record independently?
Many of our voice actors follow our pricing schedule, but you’ll find that rates are negotiable, so if you let them know what you can afford, there’s a good chance they’ll accommodate you!
