Born and raised in the Caribbean, I have been an Audio Engineer for over 15 years starting my journey as a lead singer in a Caribbean rock band in my early teens. I later furthered my passion for music and audio production in Toronto, Canada where I studied Audio Engineering and Production at The Harris Institute for the Arts. I graduated with Honours and have been working in Toronto and throughout the Caribbean for the last 12 years. I have been trained by and worked with some of the biggest engineering names in Canada such as Doug McClement from LiveWire Remote Media, Yuri Gorbachow in Post Audio and Martin Pilchner from Pilchner Schoulstal who is renowned for Studio Design and Acoustics.
I have recently relocated to the United Kingdom where I plan to continue my Audio Engineering career.
My experience is varied across multiple broadcast formats such as radio, live sound, post audio, video for television and online broadcasts.
In line with industry standards, I use Pro-Tools and Logic Pro as my preferred DAW software.
Over the years I have produced countless radio and television commercials for popular brands such as Coca-Cola, Sprite, Kraft Macaroni & Cheese and Powerade to name a few. I have also been hired to do work for companies such as HBO New York on their hit HBO Sports series 24/7 where I recorded actor Liev Schreiber to narrate for the Mayweather/Mosley boxing match.
Along with controlled studio sessions I have also managed a live studio setting on a daily basis where I was responsible for directing a live broadcast both on television and YouTube for the Barbados Lottery. This comprised of operating a mixed environment of Black Magic hardware and software along with switching video feeds using a Newtek Tricaster. This gave me the opportunity to work with leading technology in the video and audio field for live production.
I am passionate about the quality of my work and building relationships with clients, helping them to promote their brand and realize their visions for the future of their product.
