My background is in commercial and non-commercial radio broadcasting in the USA. Voiceover began as a necessity for me over 10 years ago while living overseas. I needed a viable means to obtain my work permit and residency card in the country I was living in the Middle East. Everything I was hearing on the few English language radio stations was in British English. I thought at the time that there MUST be a niche for doing voice work in North American (USA) English. I produced a demo CD and visited 15 audio-visual studios in our city seeking opportunities for doing English (USA) voiceover work. I received regular work from five of those studios over the course of six years. Voiceover work not only provided me my work permit and residency card during those years, but also extra income for my family. What started out as a necessary “hobby” has turned into a long-term passion of mine. I enjoy being behind the microphone and serving clients with voiceover recordings that are professionally recorded and delivered on time every time.
