Markus moved from Germany to Los Angeles in 2008. With a warm and versatile voice, he has been a professional voiceover artist for more than 15 years, lending his voice to everything from audiobooks and commercials to documentaries and movies. He speaks neutral German but can also perform in American English—with or without a German accent—and with an intermediate knowledge of a variety of other languages, he can even perform in Japanese and Spanish.
Markus has refined his voice-over skills through 15 years of extensive experience across a diverse range of projects. He possesses on-camera experience and has undergone rigorous training at the Speiser/Sturges Acting Studio. In addition, Markus has worked with various accent coaches to develop a neutral American accent for his English voice-over and on-camera work.
His home studio features high-quality equipment and software designed to deliver optimal audio for his clients. The studio is set up for live-directed sessions, and Markus is available to travel to any studio in the greater Los Angeles area.
Every voice actor sets their own rate. All of our talents are pros, but the cost can vary depending on their experience and skill level.
Generally speaking, voice over rates depend on:
- Will the voice over be for broadcast and paid ads, or organic, non-promotional use?
- The length of the script (word count).
- Do you need the voice over fully edited and production-ready, or just the raw audio?
- Do you want to direct the voice artist in real-time, or can they record independently?
Many of our voice actors follow our pricing schedule, but you’ll find that rates are negotiable, so if you let them know what you can afford, there’s a good chance they’ll accommodate you!
